Plot summary
Sinaloa, a young British woman, comes to Texas to find Merle, the half-sister she shares through their dead country musician father. Merle has a steady job, a coming marriage and a tense relationship with her mother, Patricia. Sinaloa charms her way into Merle's life, and when she sings, something in Merle answers, quieting whatever doubt Merle had about their blood. Their father's music legacy is what brought Sinaloa to Austin. The chaos that arrives with her begins to unsettle Merle's job, her plans to marry and her bond with Patricia.
