Plot summary
Montana Moore is a flight attendant who has watched her mother Catherine marry many times while her own relationships went nowhere. When her younger sister Sheree becomes engaged, Montana is asked to be a bridesmaid, and she dreads showing up alone while Catherine nags her about being single. She gives herself thirty days to find a husband. Her fellow flight attendants Gail and Sam come up with a plan: since Sam has done favors for airline coworkers, they can arrange Montana's schedule so that she keeps crossing paths with her ex-boyfriends, meeting each one on a flight and judging whether he is husband material. Gail objects because the scheme is illegal, and Montana's friend and neighbor William Wright, who doubts the plan, gives her a ride to the airport anyway.
