Plot summary
Rocky, Colt and Tum-Tum are brothers who train in ninja arts with their grandfather, Mori Shintaro. He plans to take them to a Japanese martial arts tournament he won fifty years earlier, where he wants to return the dagger he was given as champion so it can go to the new winner. Only Tum-Tum, the youngest, is eager to go. A thief steals a sword from a museum, and at a baseball game Colt's temper starts a brawl that gets the game suspended for a week, threatening the trip. Three thugs led by Glam try to break into Mori's cabin for the dagger; the boys drive them off. Mori leaves for Japan alone, carrying Tum-Tum's bag by mistake, so the dagger stays behind with the boys, who travel after him.
