Plot summary
Schmidt and Jenko are on street duty in narcotics when a chase after a gang of dealers, run by a kingpin called The Ghost, goes wrong. Deputy Chief Hardy sends them back to the undercover program, now working for Captain Dickson, whose unit has moved across the street to 22 Jump Street. Their assignment is to pass as college students and identify whoever supplied WHY-PHY, the synthetic drug that killed a student on campus. Jenko is drawn to a pair of jocks, Zook and Rooster, and Schmidt meets Maya, an art student, by pretending an interest in slam poetry. Jenko spends his days with the football crowd, Schmidt with the art majors, and the two start to question their partnership.
