Plot summary
Five storylines converge on events that happen one evening at 11:14, told in flashbacks that each cover twenty minutes and begin five minutes earlier than the one before. Jack is talking on his cell phone at the wheel and has been drinking. Something smashes across his windshield and his car runs off the road. He gets out and finds a body with a mutilated face lying next to the car. Norma pulls up, assumes he hit a deer and offers to call the police. Jack does not want her to.
