Plot summary
In a near-future America where George W. Bush has won a fourth term, Congress has been disbanded and public nudity banned, and wars have thinned the military, a secret laboratory in Sartre, Nebraska, grows a virus that re-animates dead Marines. The virus breaks containment, and a team of Marines, the Z Squad, is sent to destroy the infected. A Marine named Byrdflough is bitten and gets away, carrying the infection into an underground strip club. A new dancer there, Jessy, has come to earn money for her grandmother's operation, and the club's star, Kat, is attacked during her act.
