Plot summary
It is 1961. Dr. Paul Armstrong takes his wife Betty to a mountain cabin so he can hunt for a meteorite that fell in the woods, which he believes carries the rare element atmosphereum. Ranger Brad is questioned by Dr. Roger Fleming about Cadavra Cave, a site said to hold a Lost Skeleton. A second meteor that night is a spaceship: Kro-Bar and Lattis come from the planet Marva and are stranded, with a powerless ship that only atmosphereum can repair. Their caged pet mutant gets out. The Armstrongs find the first meteorite near the cave while Dr. Fleming meets the Lost Skeleton, which demands atmosphereum. Calling themselves Turgaso and Bammin, Kro-Bar and Lattis use a transmutatron to pass as Earth people and are mistaken for the property owners.
