Plot summary
Frank Stein is a Los Angeles high school student absorbed in heavy electron resurrection, the revival of corpses soon after death. His neighbor Lance Kipple throws a party and invites Karl O'Reilly as a joke. Karl fights with Lance and Tuttle and falls into an empty swimming pool, and he dies. Lance and Tuttle try to dump the body. Frank offers to revive the corpse instead, on the condition that he gets to spend time with the popular students, and he takes a brain from his father's laboratory. Karl comes back and goes home.
