You're Cordially Invited (2025) on Netflix

Plot summary

Jim Caldwell, a widower in Atlanta, is surprised when his daughter Jenni gets engaged to Oliver, her DJ boyfriend. He reserves their wedding at the inn on Palmetto Island, Georgia, the place where he married Jenni's late mother, but the owner suffers a fatal heart attack before the reservation is entered in the calendar. In Los Angeles, reality showrunner Margot Buckley hears that her sister Neve plans to marry Dixon, an exotic dancer. Margot secures the same island inn, where the sisters visited their grandmother as children, and the new manager takes her dates without knowing about Jim's. The two parties arrive for the weekend, Jim out of step among Jenni's friends and Margot at odds with the rest of her family, and the double booking surfaces.
