Plot summary
Michael Firch works with computers and travels to Paris to negotiate a contract with people who matter. He was born on an unusual astral date. In Paris he crosses paths with Morgane and her son Arthur. Morgane comes from a long line of witches, and the boy shows a natural gift for witchcraft, but she wants him to grow up as an ordinary human being with no supernatural powers. An ancient ritual can do that, and it demands the presence of someone born under that same constellation, which Michael is. Morgane brings him to a castle in France that belongs to her family. The sorcerer Molok has a different plan for Arthur, and he works against her.
