Plot summary
Madison Lane works as a resort developer, and her employer wants her to find a site for a new ski resort. He sends her to the town of Christmas, Colorado, to look it over. Driving in, she hits the welcome sign and damages her car in a minor collision. Sheriff Gage McBride takes her the rest of the way into town so that she can keep her appointment with the mayor, and the car is towed for repairs. The townspeople have their own hopes for the visit. They want the new resort built in Christmas, and they hope to show her why.
