Plot summary
Terry Monroe and Bob Bolaño are two corrupt cops in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They return to the police force after being suspended for assaulting a racist coworker. They rob and extort criminals, assault people, accept bribes, and take drugs. While they watch small time thieves, they come to think Jimmy Harris, a local criminal, plans a heist. They force Reggie, a former associate of Harris, to talk by threatening to arrest him on a false charge.
