Plot summary
Rex Coen stops at a bank to chat with a teller he has a crush on. Armed robbers burst in, and his subconscious, which appears to him as a separate being, talks him through the fight: he kills the robbers and saves the customers, but a bullet hits an employee. Tried over that death, Rex takes a plea deal and serves eight years. Reporters hound him once he is out, so he books a vacation in Finland. The couple filming him at the airport is no welcome party, and he comes to with one leg amputated and his hands tied to a ceiling. His subconscious still with him, Rex works out that he is the captive of a family of cannibals.
