Plot summary
George and Linda Gergenblatt are a married couple in New York who buy a micro-loft they can barely afford. He expects a promotion at his firm, and she hopes a cable network will buy the documentary she has made, but the company folds and the network passes, so they sell the apartment at a loss. George's arrogant brother Rick offers him a job in Atlanta, and they drive south to stay with him. On the road they stop at a bed and breakfast called Elysium, where a naked man, Wayne Davidson, startles them and George flips the car. The residents, among them Seth, Eva and the owner Carvin, live as a commune and invite them to stay. After an argument with Rick, George and Linda come back and agree to a two-week trial.
