Plot summary
Catherine Brown and Amber La Vonne come to Hollywood hoping to be discovered. They trade identities, and the swap keeps them dodging mix-ups on a studio lot, slapstick included, while the confusion reaches the Variety Club, the show-business charity that works for underprivileged children. Dozens of the studio's contract players appear as themselves, and songs and comic numbers run through the confusion.
