Plot summary
A group of men wake in a warehouse with no memory of how they got there. The man in the jean jacket stirs first and checks that everyone is alive; others are bound to a chair, handcuffed and shot, or have a broken nose. Barred windows line the walls, and a mechanized lock secures the only door. A ringing phone brings a caller who asks what is happening and promises to return in some hours. Elsewhere, a money drop-off proceeds, and William Coles Jr. has been kidnapped. The bound man asks to be freed, but the man in the rancher shirt argues that a man on their side would not have been tied up. A newspaper in the room reports the Coles kidnapping, and the men begin to wonder if they were part of it.
