Plot summary
In 1202, an army under the vampire elders Viktor and Amelia arrives at a village of werewolves and captures Markus's twin brother William Corvinus, the earliest and strongest of the werewolves; Viktor has him imprisoned in a secret location. Centuries later, the vampire Selene hides Michael, a Lycan-vampire hybrid, in a safe house and plans to stop the vampire regent Kraven from killing Markus, but Markus awakens before Kraven arrives. Lorenz Macaro, an elderly man, sends a team into the Lycans' lair, and a metal disc on Viktor's corpse matches a pendant once worn by Sonja; Michael holds the other half.
