Shane Brolly
Biography
Shane Brolly is an actor who was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He first connected with theater at Valley College, where students suggested he take their class, and he was given the part of an Irish police officer in a campus production of Wait until Dark at the Horse Shoe Theater. He then left college and worked in construction, earning a contractor's license, and spent five years away from acting. Once he returned, he took classes again and studied the Meisner technique. In 1997 he landed his first role, playing Jack in the independent film Flypaper (1999), alongside Robert Loggia and Graig Sheffer. The play was an early stage part, and Flypaper was his first film role.
