Plot summary
In Hamburg, several criminals hide large amounts of illegal cash in safe deposit boxes at a bank, relying on West German privacy laws. Among them are Mr. North, a Las Vegas mobster, the Candy Man, who smuggles drugs, and the Sarge, a U.S. Army officer working with a partner called the Major. Joe Collins, a bank security consultant, has been watching them and prepares an elaborate plan to take their money, more than $1.5 million in all. His partner in the scheme is Dawn Divine, a call girl who counts Mr. North and the Sarge among her clients. Granich, the head of a drug smuggling mob, orders the Candy Man to carry two bottles of concentrated LSD to Copenhagen, and Divine goes with him.
