Plot summary
Vivien is a high school student who loves math and physics, and she dates Steve, the star of the swim team. Roy, their teammate, has little money, many tattoos and slower times, and his coach warns that without improvement he will miss the Rome meet, which he needs for a college scholarship. Vivien follows her mother to a restaurant and sees her with another man. Afterward a group of teenagers takes her bag, and Roy, who knows them, steps in.
