Plot summary
Kate Davis, an unmarried professional woman, is kidnapped by a group called The Brotherhood. Its members claim to belong to an ancient race that drinks human blood to hold on to its youth and strength, and they take Kate for a descendant of Elizabeth Báthory. They hold her at a hospital-like compound, a dairy farm where hypnotized, brainwashed humans are bled and their blood harvested for consumption. Kate is horrified and refuses to join the Brotherhood or to take one of its members as a mate. She steals a truck and flees the compound, but is caught and brought back.
