Plot summary
Jack works as a paramedic, and since his breakup with his girlfriend he has been frustrated with the way his life is going. He finds Danika in an alleyway, covered in blood and clinging to life after an assault. She refuses to go to a hospital, so he takes her in and nurses her back to health. Caring for the woman he has brought home, he falls in love with her. Before long she suffers withdrawal symptoms, and Jack begins to think that the woman he has fallen for is a drug addict.
