Plot summary
A lonesome stranger with steady nerves works as a professional assassin. He owes his mentor a debt and the mentor hands him a new assignment: kill a rogue hitman. The instructions are only a time and a place, five in the afternoon at a rustic diner in a dying town. No name and no description come with them. When the assassin reaches the diner, several people could be his quarry, among them the county sheriff. To finish the job, he begins a manhunt through the town, but his encounters with a local woman and the growing danger around him put the task at risk.
