Plot summary
Paul and Wendy Michaelson set out in an RV with their daughter Taylor and the family pug, Lucky, for a stay at a remote lakeside campground. While Wendy goes for supplies, Paul falls into conversation with Miranda, who is camped nearby with her husband Eric. Wendy comes back and the two find Taylor missing. The campsite manager, Tom, offers no help, and Sheriff Baker and Deputy Rakes arrive with a search party but instruct the couple to remain where they are. A day passes without leads, and the Michaelsons learn that an escaped convict is somewhere in the area. They file a missing persons report and decide to look for Taylor on their own.
