Plot summary
At a downtown Los Angeles bank, men in body armor exchange gunfire with police and slip away into the city. That night, veteran patrol officer Ray Mandel takes the wheel of a Crown Vic in the Olympic Division and is paired with Nick Holland, a rookie seeing his first action and trying to step out of the shadow of his father's LAPD career. The department is on high alert for the two cop killers still at large, and rogue officer Jack VanZandt and his partner Stroke Adams are working the same patrol zone. Mandel breaks the rules and knows the department wants him out at his age, and the shift brings robberies, domestic unrest and a car fire.
