The Tragedy of Flight 103: The Inside Story (1990) on Netflix

Plot summary

Yossi Langotsky arrives late at the check-in desk for a Pan Am flight with a suitcase that holds a fake bomb. The officer there takes money under the table and lets the bag go, and it is loaded. Langotsky then telephones Pan Am's chief executive, Edward C. Acker, to say a fake bomb is on one of the airline's flights. Acker answers that he does not want the incident repeated and that questioning an airline's security procedures this way is wrong. In New York, Acker presents Alert, a new security subsidiary meant to make Pan Am the safest and most reliable airline, to his executives. Frederick Ford, newly named vice-president for aviation security, is to run it.
