Plot summary
An assassin kills a US senator and the senator's guards, then ends his own life with a grenade, and other guards die with him. Gabriel Howarth has memories of that assassination, and he wakes every day out of nightmares about it. Brinn, his wife, comforts him. The two of them run a restaurant together, and Sheriff Hodge is a good friend of theirs. Gabriel's violent dreams start bleeding into his waking hours. One day he hears music, and it brings on a seizure.
