Plot summary
Tommy "Santa" Santorelli is an arrogant star centerfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Blinded by a fireworks display set off by mistake, he is knocked unconscious by a wild pitch and wakes as his thirteen-year-old self in 1976. His mother Sara sends him to play ball with Two-Ton, Ryan, Q, D.P., Wings, Timber, Wok and Roll on the sandlot team, and he shields Ryan from the local bully, E.J. Needman. E.J.'s father Earl plans to build condominiums on the Sandlot, so Tommy joins the team to put E.J. in his place, drilling his new teammates with help from Benny and Squints.
