Plot summary
Cole Baird has a wife, a career, a large home and a country club membership. Underneath, he is a man trapped by surroundings he did not choose, falling behind the dream he meant to live. Unable to face his father's expectations, he left the woman he loved and his closest friend and set out on a legal career, meaning to return to the small town he came from. He is now the youngest managing partner in his firm's history. The choice is whether to keep a success he never aspired to or go back to his home community.

- The production was pushed from October 2020 to April/May 2021, making weather its greatest obstacle; yet in 32 days of shooting, much of it on location and outdoors in the mid-Atlantic spring, the film had not a single rain delay.
- Once health protocols and a compliance program were confirmed, the crew shot for six weeks, masked, shielded, tested, bubbled and sanitized, through Maryland's Eastern Shore and into the Nation's Capital in May 2021.
