The Merry Gentlemen (2024) on Netflix

Plot summary

Ashley has danced on Broadway for twelve years in the Christmas show Jingle Belles, and after a misstep onstage the choreographer Jodie replaces her with a younger dancer. Her mother Lily calls about coming to see that show on Christmas Eve, so Ashley says she will come home to Sycamore Creek instead, to her parents' venue, The Rhythm Room. There she runs into Luke, the handyman, and hears from the landlady Denise that her parents owe $30,000 in rent. Her sister Marie and Marie's husband Rodger run the local cafe. When Denise mentions a juice bar wants the venue, Ashley pitches an all-male, Christmas-themed revue, The Merry Gentlemen. Luke refuses until he hears how little time they have; the bartender Troy and Rodger join.
