Plot summary
Timothy is an openly gay senior at a private boys' school, where the aggressive rugby team makes his days hard. He has a crush on Jonathon, the team's captain. His mother, Donna, is searching for work and has trouble accepting that her son is gay. At school, the drama teacher gives him the part of Puck in the senior staging of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and while studying his lines he finds the recipe for the flower love-in-idleness in the script. Timothy mixes the potion and sprays the people around him, and heterosexual neighbors, teachers and classmates fall for the first person of the same sex they see, friends, bosses and co-workers alike.
