Plot summary
On a busy morning Lincoln Loud helps his sisters get through the day and shows Lily, the youngest, how life in a large family works. After the sisters each win an award, the family celebrates at Lynn's Table, where fans praise the girls and ignore Lincoln. Lincoln asks his friend Clyde McBride for advice; Clyde says his grandmother's family came from Paris, so Lincoln asks his parents the same question, and Lisa traces their father's line to Scotland. The Louds take a week-long trip to Loch Loud, where the citizens tell them they descend from Scottish royalty and lead them to a castle kept by groundskeeper Angus and caretaker Morag. Inside hangs a painting of their ancestors, and Angus tells Lincoln that the Duke, an ancestor, once ruled Loch Loud.
