Plot summary
Stuart is a purist about film and holds the current cinema in contempt as vulgar and cheap. His job at the theater is as a projectionist until he is laid off from it and put behind the concession stand, and the treatment turns him toward revenge. Martin and Allie pick that night to visit the theater for a screening of The Hills Have Eyes 2, paying more attention to each other than to the screen. Stuart catches them, drugs Allie, and takes his manager down. With the theater shut for the night and the couple locked inside, he sets up the CCTV system and a handheld camcorder and starts directing a horror movie of his own, with the two of them as his performers.
