Plot summary
Frank Daly runs an LAPD narcotics unit with Wayne Gross, Ricky Rodriguez and Howard Jones, and he asks Captain Joe Torres to keep the DEA out of a bust they have planned. That night the four watch a drug deal at a meat processing plant, and when the captain tells Daly to wait for the DEA, Daly sends his men in anyway. Trafficker Anthony Reece and his henchman set the plant and the money on fire, then drive up to the mountains to report to their boss, R.J. Norringer. Torres suspends the unit pending an investigation. In their time off the four install a septic tank at Canyon Park, and through the informant Fast Eddie, Daly arranges for a prostitute to meet Reece.
