Plot summary
Two years after the Fourth Ninja World War, Kakashi Hatake notices that the moon is drawing closer and will soon crash into Earth. The crisis comes from Toneri Otsutsuki, a descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki, who intends to judge humanity for turning the Sage of Six Paths's teachings into ninjutsu. During the Rinne Festival, Hinata Hyuga makes a red scarf of her own, the same color as the one Naruto Uzumaki had on when they met. She wants to tell him her feelings, but when she sees him wearing a scarf from another girl, she hesitates. Before she can bring it up, Toneri enters the Hidden Leaf to take her. Naruto stops him, so Toneri seizes her younger sister Hanabi instead. Kakashi puts Naruto, Hinata, Sakura Haruno, Sai and Shikamaru Nara on the mission to bring Hanabi back.
