Plot summary
Helen Tullet is a young mother whose memory is not whole. Her father took his own life, and she wants to know what led him there. As she looks into his death, spirits come to her. Her search also turns up a mystery that has gone unsolved for thirty years and that belongs to her own family. What she finds is a dark stretch of family history, and it puts her child in danger.
