Plot summary
Sara Hopkins is a kind young girl who believes deeply in God. At a lake with Danny, her brother, and Cindy, his girlfriend, she finds a dead bird. Sara prays for it, and it comes back to life, though her family is skeptical. Later Danny pulls his rival Alvie from the path of a car, and Alvie's dog is struck instead. Sara prays and the dog revives, astonishing everyone. Mark, her best friend, is a paraplegic who gets around in a wheelchair. He asks her to pray with him, and he is able to walk again. News of the healings spreads, and Sara's fame grows.
