Plot summary
Jake is an ex-gambler paying off a debt by driving for The Naked Eye, a private club that is a front for a prostitution ring. His nights are spent chauffeuring call girls and handling customers who refuse to pay. Then he meets Sandy, a runaway with nowhere else to go, and the two of them form a bond that gives each a reason to want more. When Sandy is found dead, the only leads are call records from the night she was killed. Jake sets out to find her killer, working through lies and his own feelings about her.
