Plot summary
Bo Duke is arrested in Chickasaw County for destructive driving, and his cousin Luke for setting off illegal fireworks. Their punishment is a summer of hard work at the farm of their Uncle Jesse in Hazzard County, who makes moonshine the way the family always has. Bored with farm chores, the boys head for the Boar's Nest and spot Jesse paying Boss Hogg, the county commissioner, to leave his still alone. Hogg's prize pig gets loose, falls from a roof and is hurt. The commissioner demands a large payment soon or he will take the farm. Jesse cannot deliver that much alone, so Bo and Luke volunteer to run the moonshine and go looking for a fast car.
