Plot summary
Rick Turner is troubled by visions of a woman he cannot identify, and one night he is drawn to a doll shop whose window holds a doll that matches her exactly. The next day he brings his girlfriend, Donna Trent, to see it. The owner, Frank Lamont, greets Rick by name and insists that Rick ordered that doll, a likeness of Bianca Milan, a woman Rick has never met. Donna also finds a doll that looks like her, and Frank will not part with it. After the couple leaves, Frank carries the Donna doll into a back room and runs a long pin into it, and Donna doubles over in pain. A doctor tells Rick that her heart has gone into spasm and that she needs complete bed rest.
