Plot summary
Connor and Murphy MacManus have spent eight years on a sheep farm in Ireland with their father, Noah, since their vigilante killings in Boston. Word comes from Father Sibeal that a Boston priest has been ritually murdered in the same manner the twins once used, a killing meant to implicate them. The brothers dig out their old weapons and head for the United States, leaving Noah behind. On the container ship they fall in with Romeo, a Mexican fighter from the underground circuit, who knows who they are and talks them into joining as a partner. In Boston, FBI Special Agent Eunice Bloom is assigned to decide whether the Saints are behind the murder. Detectives Greenly, Dolly, and Duffy work the scene.
