Plot summary
The Big Four of American thrash metal, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax, played together for the first time at the Sonisphere Festival at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland, on June 16, 2010. On June 22, 2010, the four bands took the stage at Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria, for one night only. The Sofia concert was filmed and sent by satellite to more than 450 theaters in the United States and more than 350 across Europe, Canada, and Latin America. The release carries full sets from each band with behind-the-scenes and interview footage.
