Plot summary
Milo is an assassin who has grown tired of his work. When he corners his latest target, he changes his mind and offers the man a chance to escape under a new identity. Bjorn, a rival with the same organization, kills the man anyway and uses Milo's lapse to have their bosses order Milo's death. Milo survives Bjorn's first attempt and, after a talk with his friend Leo, travels to Leo's country property in Gwynfyd, Wales. There he is knocked out while burying his gun case. Rhiannon, the village vet, finds him and checks that he is healthy before returning him to his car. At the pub, landlord Bryn Morgan takes him for the new baker, and Milo goes along with it, adopting the alias Milo Shakespeare from a bust on the bar.
