Plot summary
Skylight promised its members freedom and gathered them on an isolated campus in the New Mexico desert called The Aviary. Jillian and Blair have left the cult behind and are trying to put real distance between themselves and the group. Supplies are running low, their nerves are worn, and fear and paranoia stay with them. What troubles them most is Seth, the cult's leader, a man as charming as he is controlling, whose influence still reaches them from far off. He seems to be following, and the farther they get from the campus, the harder he is to shut out.
