Christian Kane
Biography
Christian Kane, an American actor and singer-songwriter, began his career in 1997 with a lead role in the television series Fame L.A. He went on to play Lindsey McDonald in Angel and Eliot Spencer, a retrieval specialist, in Leverage from 2008 to 2012, performing his own fight scenes and returning to the character in Leverage: Redemption. He also starred as Jacob Stone in The Librarians and as Alex Walker in the drama series Almost Paradise. His film work includes Just Married (2003), Secondhand Lions (2003), Taxi (2004), Life or Something Like It (2002), Summer Catch (2001) and the TNT film Crossfire Trail (2001). Kane fronts the country-southern rock band Kane, whose album The House Rules reached number 25 on the Billboard country albums chart.

Own stunts
Kane was Eliot Spencer on TNT's Leverage from 2008 to 2012, a retrieval specialist and black ops soldier. He choreographed the series' fights and did every fight scene himself.

A change of course
Kane attended the University of Oklahoma for art history, but he left before completing the degree because he wanted to pursue acting, so he went to Los Angeles.
