Plot summary
American zoos are short of animals after the war, so Tanya Rawlins, a big-game huntress, travels to the jungle with her backer Carl Marley and the trail boss Paul Weir. King Farrod gives them leave to capture a male and a female of every species on his land. Boy hands two lion cubs to the trappers in exchange for a flashlight; Tarzan returns the flashlight, takes the cubs back and calls the animals across the river to his side of the jungle. When the hunters follow and set their traps there, Tarzan and Boy slip into the camp at night, carry off the guns and hide them behind a waterfall, then open the cages.
