Plot summary
Chase Revere looks after the history museum in Patriotville, a run-down town where the museum is its only attraction for visitors, and he gives his spare hours to the exhibits and to staging Revolutionary War battle reenactments. His friend Digger wants him to spend his time dating instead. When a group of Native Americans arrives to consider building a casino in Patriotville, Chase learns the land in question is the battlefield. The town government, expecting the casino to rescue its finances, negotiates a bribe. Chase and Lucy Shanks, who has come from Sulfur Falls looking for her father, start a petition to put the casino to a vote, drawing opposition from officials and residents who believe the money is worth more.
