Plot summary
Kevin Brzyzowski, known as Stretch, drives a limo in Los Angeles. He has put his addictions and his gambling behind him, but he still owes $6,000 to the Mexican mafia, which wants the money by midnight. His boss says a rival chauffeur called The Jovi has been luring away their customers, and that without new clients the business will fold. Stretch asks Charlie, a receptionist and one of his few friends, to send paying fares his way, since a generous tip is the only way he can clear the debt.

- Universal Pictures scrapped the film's March 21, 2014 theatrical release just two months before it was due, a move The Hollywood Reporter called "an apparently unprecedented move." Producer Jason Blum could not interest other distributors, and Universal was unwilling to spend the $20-40 million needed to promote and release it theatrically.
- To coincide with the film's on-demand release, the filmmakers put out a behind-the-scenes video of stars Patrick Wilson and Brooklyn Decker working through the mechanics of filming a sex scene, and the release drew media attention.
