Matthew Willig

Biography

Matthew Willig is an American actor who spent 14 years as an NFL offensive tackle before turning to screen work. Born in La Mirada, California, he played football at the University of Southern California and lined up for teams including the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers, reaching Super Bowl XXXVIII. His acting credits range from television guest spots to film roles, among them a brutish caveman in Year One (2009), Special Agent Simon Cade on NCIS, Little Chino on Dexter, and Yuri on Chuck. He played Mike Drake in The Employer, One Eye in We're the Millers (2013), former NFL player Justin Strzelczyk in Concussion (2015) and Creep in 3 from Hell (2019), and had a recurring role as Lash on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also voiced Juggernaut in the Marvel game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and played André the Giant on Young Rock.
