Plot summary
Robbie is a young father in Glasgow who has narrowly avoided a prison sentence. His last chance is a community payback order, and he serves it under Harry, who runs the sessions. There he meets Rhino, Albert and Mo, men whose criminal records keep them out of work. Harry takes the group to a whisky distillery as a reward for good behavior, and there they learn what the angels' share means. The best malt whiskies, they begin to see, might offer a way out.
